Bacon Wrapped Pigeon

 Picky Eaters Paradise

Hey picky eaters! It's your friend Owen here! So, this weekend I was given the opportunity to go on another squirrel hunt. However, no squirrels were in the area. But there was a pigeon. We were wanting something to eat and were testing our accuracy and scored this big bird. After cleaning the bird and preparing for a feast, we cooked and enjoyed an awesome bacon wrapped pigeon.

In about 20-30 minutes you can have some of the best pieces of meat at your own convenience of your backyard! The taste in my opinion was like a cut of steak wrapped in bacon on a whole other level of good flavor. Using seasoned salt, pigeon, bacon, and BBQ sauce, you can be ready to take your eating levels to a new extreme.
Steps:
  • Harvest Pigeon
  • clean pigeon
  • cut meat into sizeable chunks
  • toss in seasoned salt
  • wrap in bacon
  • cook in pan in stove on medium high heat
  • flip until bacon is cooked fully on all sides
  • throw unto oven at 350 degrees for 5-10 minutes or until cooked inside
  • enjoy your new creation
